We’d like to welcome you to the pre-Christmas instalment of our DatschaPresents breakfast seminars: this time with a focus on investing in alternative assets.

We are delighted to be joined by Hugo Llewelyn, Managing Director of Newcore Capital Management on 5th December, when he will be discussing the growing trend of investing in alternative assets and the impact this will have on property development and investments in the future.

Newcore invests in UK assets that it believes are central to the continuing physical needs of society and therefore likely to experience continuing long-term demand from occupiers and investors. It targets sectors that are resilient to the internet’s deflationary effect. Social infrastructure, storage and accommodation are all sectors with limited supply, growing demand and which cannot be easily substituted by the internet.

Prior to Newcore, Hugo was a founder of and Head of Investment at Protego Real Estate Investors, which he set up with two colleagues in 2004 and sold to Cornerstone Real Estate Advisers in 2010. Hugo is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and holds masters degrees from both the University of Oxford and the University of Reading. He was amongst the first candidates to be awarded the IPF Real Estate Investment diploma.

We’ll begin with a networking breakfast at 8.30am. The seminar discussion will begin at 9.00am and the event will close at 10.00am.

Please be aware that this event often sells out. Tickets should be booked quickly. If you are no longer able to attend, please let us know so we can allocate your ticket to a member of the waitlist.
